To support The Fisherman’s Mission:
Both have posted a blog on their websites about my Clipper Challenge and provided T-Shirts and collection boxes to support me.
My mini mascot fisherman Albert has logged many nautical miles with me, including the Atlantic crossing. He was kindly knitted for me during the 50th anniversary of the Hull triple trawler tragedy. I continue to take him on my travels.

My additional fundraising activities to date include:
17th August 2016 – I baked some buns and my colleagues at work donated £37.00 to The Fisherman’s Mission.
29th September 2016 – Following the Annual Humber Seafood Summit which I organise Scoloti chocolates donated some chocolate fish which I held a raffle at work, raising £85.00 for The Fisherman’s Mission.
9th October 2016 – We held a pub ride on horseback from the livery yard where my horses are kept. 17 horses rode round the beautiful area of Cropton, Appleton and Lastingham calling in at the local pubs. We had a BBQ for lunch and raised £290.00.
Thank-you to the Fisherman’s Mission for their regular tweets like this one:
